Another successful year of conservation in our reserves is drawing to a close and we need to thank all our members and donors for their loyal and generous support.
We currently receive no outside funding so every cent that is needed for reserve management and maintenance comes from these good people and from our fundraising events.
We hold two major fundraisers each year…the Golf Day, which was very successful and the FOSTER FUNdraiser RUN/Walk, which is about to happen in a couple of weeks time.
So dust off the shoes and mark your diaries…do whatever it takes to be there…a fun, festive event for the whole family and a chance to appreciate the beauty of our nature areas!
There will be some wonderful lucky draw prizes too!
Then it just remains for us to wish you all a wonderful festive season with special people and a year ahead that is rewarding in every way.
This important project continues in Lilian’s capable hands and is now funded by an anonymous donor from our community and by FOSTER.
At the end of this year a total of almost 2000 learners and educators from Kouga schools, and many adult groups, have enjoyed the ‘Walk on the Wildside’ educational excursions since it’s inception.
